We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Practice Assistant to join a busy Corporate Practice group. The firm is offering a great starting salary along with comprehensive benefits, generous PTO and much more. Responsibilities:
•Provide administrative support to corporate lawyers and Paralegals
•Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents and contracts
•Draft, prepare, edit and proofread all types of written communications
•Process time entries, expense reports and check requests
•Monitor requests to administrative departments
•Manage and maintain legal files, databases and records
•Organize and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for corporate lawyers
•Respond to internal and external legal inquiries and requests for information
•Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action items
•Assist in the management of corporate governance and regulatory compliance processes
•Perform other related duties as assigned by corporate lawyers. Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum 4 years of providing support to corporate and litigation attorneys
•4+ years of experience as a legal assistant or administrative support in a corporate law environment
•Strong understanding of corporate law and administrative support
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
